We have four different research areas: the learning and memory group, the behavioral control group, the imaging technology group, and the X-ray group. The learning and memory group mainly aim to understands the mechanism of learning and memory by using the fruit fly's aversive long-term memory assay. The behavior control group used optogenetics tools to crack the fly behavior neuron network. The imaging technology group focuses on developing new microscope technologies including light-sheet and super-resolution microscopy for fly and mouse brain. The X-ray group focused on the establishment of whole brain tomography in Drosophila. The core of research is to study the memory mechanism of animals through various research methods.
